Can I try it first?
Yes. The demo store has sample gear, customers and orders ready — pick a role (owner / warehouse / crew) and click around. Want to try it with your own gear list? Book a demo, in person or online.
Is the app in English?
The app itself is in Chinese today. An English version is on the roadmap — tell us if you'd like early access.
We run on spreadsheets. How do we move over?
Send us your gear list and customer list (spreadsheet or photos are fine) and we import them when you start, serial numbers included. Older orders can be back-filled one by one and still reconcile.
Who owns the data? Can we take it with us?
Your store's data is yours. Ask us any time and we'll send you all your orders, gear, customers and payments in Excel within 3 business days; if you stop using RENTALWING, we hand your data over and give you plenty of time. Client statements can be exported to Excel from the system any time. See the Terms and Privacy Policy.
Do we need special hardware?
No. It runs in the browser on any computer or phone. For barcode check-out, a wireless scanner costs around ¥150–400 and labels cost cents each; a phone camera works too.
What if something breaks or data gets lost?
Everything is backed up daily to cloud storage kept apart from the server: any day in the last week can be restored, older backups are kept weekly and monthly for up to a year. Every change is logged: who, when and what.
